Parenting a Spirited Child with ADHD?

I offer gentle coaching support for young, sensitive parents raising spirited preschoolers—especially those with ADHD, a stressful childhood, or tender hearts.

Is this You?

  • You love your child fiercely—but parenting feels harder than you expected
  • You feel overstimulated and exhausted by your child’s energy
  • You’re easily triggered by whining, mess, or noise
  • You carry guilt for not enjoying parenting the way you thought you would
  • You had a tough or chaotic childhood—and don’t want to repeat the cycle
  • You suspect ADHD or anxiety might be playing a role in how you parent
  • You just want to feel calmer, more connected, and more confident

*If you're nodding along… you’re not alone.*

How I Can Help

I’m not here to “fix” you or tell you how to parent.

I’m here to hold space for you—to help you untangle the noise, rebuild your confidence, and make parenting feel a little lighter.

What we can work on:

- Calming your nervous system and building emotional regulation
- Handling meltdowns (yours or theirs) without shame
- Understanding your child’s behavior through a connection-first lens
- Finding parenting strategies that work for *your* brain and body
- Processing the past so it stops bleeding into the present

About Me

Hi, I’m James Stevenson — a coach, early childhood educator, and someone who’s walked through overwhelm and come out the other side.

I love to support parents like you—young, kind-hearted, and stretched thin. Whether you're parenting with ADHD, anxiety, or a tangle of old wounds you’re still unpacking, you deserve support that actually helps.

I believe you can be a loving, capable parent *and* a work in progress. You don’t have to have it all figured out to be doing a beautiful job.

What to Expect

Coaching with me is gentle and collaborative. No lectures, no judgment. Just steady support and space to breathe.

We meet online, so you can join from home—in your hoodie, with your toddler on your lap if needed.

Each session is shaped around what you need most that week. Some days we’ll talk about practical parenting tools. Other days might be more about your emotions, stress, or identity.

You’ll leave each session feeling lighter, clearer, and more seen.

Ready to Breathe Again?

You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s figure it out together—one calm moment at a time.
